Process Description
Workshop mainly includes crystallization and filtration processes.
The crystallization process:
In this section, the crystallization tanks are in parallel to ensure the time for crystallizing. It could be emptied separately as well.
There is a alarm display that show us the oil intake level. When the oil enters the first crystallization tank for cooling, and the intake level reaches the position we set, it will switch into the next crystallization tank through computer automatic control.
Within the whole process, each crystallization tank is controlled by PLC system through presetting freezing parameters. The computer controls the cooling rate of the oil to achieve the best effect, by controlling the temperature of the circulating cooling medium in the frozen coil tube in the crystallization tank.
Crystallization tank has the frequency conversion controlled stirring devices. To achieve the purpose of uniform cooling without destroying the grain structure, the stirring speed will also be controlled by computer according to the different crystallization processes.
Crystallizing tank is a cylinder with a sufficient area to place the cooling coils and the stirrers with a particular designed paddle, to ensure the oil is fully mixed during the slow cooling process.
In the crystallizing process, the oil and water temperature is controlled by a programmed microprocessor to ensure a smooth cooling curve during the whole process. Thanks for the temperature control of the cooling water and uniform oil cooling, crystallization can be carried out under the most suitable conditions without the annoying temperature rise, excess settling or high shear effects.
Each crystallizer has its own closed-circuit cooling medium circulation system in which the cooling medium will be circulate at a high speed. In the crystallizing period, the water temperature in the circulating pipe is detected at any time and compared with the set value.
The water temperature is regulated by controlling the quality of the freezing medium. Any water that enters the crystallization tank's circulating water system will cause an equal amount of water to overflow into the respective water systems.
Filtration process:
After crystallization and crystal growing, the slurry is heated by hot water to exchange heat with oil, and it will be separated through diaphragm filter press after reaching the filtration temperature. The operation is divided into seven procedures: feeding, circulation, filtration, emptying, squeezing, blowing cake, unloading cake.
The filter cake is formed and the filtrate starts to filter after clarification. When the pressure of the filter press reaches 3-4bar, the conveying pump stops;
After extruding the filter cake by compressed air for a certain period of time, when the residual in the filter cake is basically discharged, use compressed air to blow the oil in the filter cake completely. Then close the control valve of compressed medium, removing the pressure in the filter press;
Opening the filter press, scrape the filter cake to the stearin box, let the soft oil flow into the refined oil tank.
The filter press is the self-cleaning system. Using the oil flow prepared for fractionation passing through the heating plate to clean the filter press circularly. The cleaning system is started with one key to reduce the labor intensity.
